Alan Scheppman |

Alan has been with the firm since 1985 and in accounting since 1980. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. Since the fall of 2000, he has served as the managing director of the firm.
Within the firm Alan works on taxation for corporations, partnerships, and individuals. He also spends time in healthcare consulting for physicians, tax and retirement planning, merger and acquisition planning, and small business planning. He is interested in physicians' practice management issues.
Outside the firm Alan serves as the treasurer on the Board of Directors for Hospice of the Piedmont, Annual Campaign Corporate Leadership Chair for the United Way, on the Capital Campaign executive committee for High Point Christian Academy, and as chair of the annual Health Care Conference 2003 for NCACPA.

Connie served as Chair of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA) Peer Review Committee for the 2007-09 term.

After a stint with Arthur Anderson, he began practicing in a local firm with his father, where he was a partner from 1983 until 2005. On November 1, 2005, the firm merged with Sharrard McGee & Co. with Ken becoming a Director.
Ken has a broad base of clients in various industries, with particular emphasis in manufacturing, automobile dealers, non-profit agencies, and construction contractors. He is well versed in tax matters that pertain to closely-held family business.
He has been an elder at Grace Church of High Point for over 15 years and has served on various boards, including the NC Association of CPA's, the YMCA, Open Door Ministries, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and others.

Patsy earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from Appalachian State University and joined the firm in 1989. She possesses extensive experience in manufacturing, wholesale and service industries serving the needs of closely held businesses.
In her years with the firm, through experience and specialized continuing professional education, she has developed knowledge in the area of Employee Benefit Plan audits. She regularly attends the AICPA Conference on Employee Benefit Plans and is a member of the Benefit Plan Audits Sharegroup of AGN, an international association of separate and independent accounting firms.
Patsy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of CPA's. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Hospice of the Piedmont.

Lisa's responsibilities include planning and performing audits, reviews and compilations in various industries, including wholesale, manufacturing and nonprofit organizations. She specializes in the not for profit industry and is qualified to perform audits under Yellowbook and Single Audit regulations.
Lisa is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of CPA's. She is on the finance and special events committees of the YWCA of High Point, the Treasurer of The Friends of the Triad Park Amphitheater and serves on the Parent-Teacher Connection at High Point Friends School.

Tim's responsibilities include planning and conducting audits, reviews, and special purpose engagements for clients in a wide array of industries as well as tax planning and compliance for corporations and their owners. He also works with not for profit and ERISA audits and peer reviews.
Tim enjoys serving in the community as a recent graduate of the Leadership Greensboro program. His service has included being the past Treasurer of Preservation Greensboro, Incorporated, as well as past Treasurer of the Greensboro Airport Rotary Club. Tim currently serves on the finance committee of the Greensboro Partnership and is active in his church.

She has a great personal interest in real estate ownership and investing. Her personal pleasures revolve around her family, boating, water skiing, and art, and one day she plans to write fiction and poetry.
